Come Rain or Shine

Unit Summary:
Students form a team of meteorologists and weather casters to study the weather of their area. They observe and keep track of the weather conditions such as weather and temperature. Students keep a day to to day record in the weather chart. They learn how to make and use the necessary instruments to obtain forecasted weather results. Students present their weather findings through a multimedia presentation. They work together to design a weather poster to share information on preparing and adpating to different weather conditions to the school community.

Elektrik Elektronik
Subject Area: Kemahiran Hidup
Year 4
Unit Summary:
Pelajar berfungsi sebagai seorang juru teknik / juru elektrik kepada rakan-rakan sekolah. Mereka mengkaji kepentingan elektrik dalam kehidupan harian, jenis-jenis komponen elektrik, fungsi, simbol dan kegunaan komponen berkenaan serta tahu membezakan antara litar siri dan litar selari. Selain itu, pelajar juga dapat membuat penyambungan litar siri dan selari dengan menggunakan komponen-komponen yang disediakan. Pelajar didedahkan cara-cara menyediakan dan membaca lukisan skematik dan lukisan projek. Faktor keselamatan perlu dititikberatkan sewaktu menjalankan kajian masing-masing. Mereka membentangkan hasil kajian mereka dalam bentuk brosur.

Unit Summary:
In this unit, students take the role as promoter of healthy living to encourage their classmates to take part in healthy activities like sports and also to eat healthy food. They conduct their research through Internet and interview athlete/sport teacher. They share their findings by creating newsletter.

Unit ini bertujuan untuk meningkat kesedaran pelajar mengamalkan pencegahan amalan pemakanan yang tidak sihat dalam kehidupan seharian. Pelajar memainkan peranan sebagai perunding kesihatan di kalangan remaja. Mereka membuat penyelidikan penyakit-penyakit dan kesannya ke atas kesihatan diri akibat amalan pemakanan yang tidak sihat serta mencadangkan langkah-langkah penyelesaiannya. Pelajar membentang hasil penyelidikan mereka dengan menggunakan persembahan multimedia.

Pelajar memainkan peranan sebagai pencinta alam sekitar dan diberi tugas untuk menghasilkan persembahan multimedia, poster dan karangan jenis fakta berkaitan "Cara-cara Menjaga Kebersihan Alam Sekitar".

Perjuangan Rakyat Tempatan Mengembalikan Kedaulatan Bangsa

Unit Summary:
Pelajar main peranan sebagai ahli sejarah yang ditugaskan untuk mengkaji tokoh pejuang tempatan yang menentang penjajah. Mereka akan mengkonstrak semula peristiwa perjuangan tokoh dalam bentuk lakonan. Pelajar mengumpul bahan-bahan mengenai biodata tokoh, peristiwa penentangan, gambar dan keratan akhbar berkaitan dengan peristiwa penentangan. Mereka juga mencari maklumat tambahan dari sumber buku dan Internet. Pelajar menyediakan laporan dapatan mereka dalam bentuk persembahan multimedia dan dibentangkan. Penilaian dibuat berdasarkan hasil pembentangan dan persembahan lakonan.

Unit Summary:
Students will be given a project where they have to do educational visit to any recreational place in Kuala Lumpur to obtain data on frequency of visitors. Students as statistics officers are required to collect data through their observation, interviews, and internet searching. Then, they have to do a full report using multimedia presentation. This report will be presented to the authority of the recreational place. The report will include a data set, complaints from visitors via interviews. Suggestions will be provided to increase the frequency of visitors

Warna dalam Kehidupan

Pelajar diberi tugas sebagai penyelidik untuk mengkaji warna dan peranannya dalam kehidupan seharian. Mereka akan membezakan warna-warna dan menyelidik kesan warna terhadap emosi. Pelajar juga dapat menyebut tiga warna asas, mengetahui warna sekunder dan kesan warna terhadap seni visual. Mereka mengakses bahan-bahan dari Internet secara kendiri untuk menghasilkan satu persembahan multimedia. Pelajar juga didedahkan dengan pembinaan brosur tentang pengaruh warna dalam emosi dan kehidupan.
