All Intel® Teach Master Facilitators (MFs) and/or Participant Teachers (PTs) are eligible to submit curriculum-aligned, technology supported and project-based unit portfolio (version 10) in the 2008 Unit Portfolio Contest. MOE is collaborating with Intel Education to hold the contest annually.

· *Entries are limited to 1-3 MFs (individual or group) and/or PTs per unit portfolio and must be original.
· Entries must be submitted in a CD.
· Entry Forms and Entries must be postmarked by 10 October 2008.
· Intel or associates of Intel, reserve the rights to modify and/or reproduce the product in print, online, or in any other media without compensation.
* Each IPG is allowed to submit 3 - 5 entries for each level

Guidelines
The unit portfolio should consist of the following important components in their respective folders as shown in the diagram.

o Use the Version 10 Unit Plan Template

o Prepare at least one student sample

o Show a variety of methods to assess students’ content learning, 21st century skills and higher-order thinking

o List all resources (images, sounds, books, journals, URL etc) in accordance with copyright law and Fair Use guidelines

Project Based Approaches (PBA)
Participants may take the course from a CD or online; self-paced or facilitated. By the end of the course, participants who complete the Action Plan will have designed materials and activities to implement or improve project-based approaches in their classrooms. Complete and submit the Action Plan to qualify for the Certificate of Completion. Send your Action Plan via email or mail it to 123, Persiaran 155A, Bukit OUG Townhouse, 58200 Kuala Lumpur.
